Friends Of Sea Turtles Education & Research (FOSTER)
On 14 October 2014, an association named Friends Of Sea Turtles Education & Research (FOSTER) or Persatuan Pencinta and Pemuliharaan Hidupan Penyu Negeri Sabah was approved by the Registrar of Societies Malaysia.
FOSTER is dedicated to provide a platform and technical supports for the Walai Penyu Conservation Park project on Libaran. Its main objectives were to fulfil the obligations specified in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed with Sabah Wildlife Department in 2013:
